MicknRick have a special guest in the form of Roy Wood, Jr. Roy was the speaker at FAMU’s Commencement during the epic FAMU Homecoming. The legendary FAMUAN is a regular viewer of the #MicknRick Show and we are honored to have him as our special guest.  

Coach Dimitric Salters, the Head Boys Basketball Coach is going to give us a preview not one of the more under rated boys programs in the area. 

On our Remembering the Legends segment we are recognizing the coach known as “Shine”. The legendary football coach from Bethune-Cookman and outstanding womens basketball coach.

Do HBCU's  do things to hurt themselves by competing with their athletic departments?  Recognizing what athletics does for the schools is it more negative or positive?  Recognizing the Legend component is about FAMU's Legendary softball  coach, Veronica Wiggins.  Woodard Recognition recognizes the achievements of Jordyne Stallworth, a Tallahassee student making her mark at Miss State

#DrFrederickHumphries speaks words of wisdom from earlier interviews that resonates in #LegendSection He was the former University President at Tennessee State University and Florida A&M University.  He spoke his mind at the NCAA meetings and stood up for the student-athletes.  Former FAMU All-MEAC point guard on the University’s 1st NCAA Tournament team is the special guest, Morris Scott. Hear his thoughts on the 1,500 students in the transfer portal lead to an insightful and enlightened discussion.

The special guest is the PGA Golf Pro, Kamaiu Johnson from Madison, Florida with a stop inTallahassee. His trip to the PGA from his start in Madison was filled with people who cared about him.

 We have also started our INSiiGHTS Basketball Preview featuring Rickards girls team with Chariya Davis and the boys with Eli Bryant. Each coach is accompanied by team member(s).

MicknRick have a special guest in the form of Coach Kezia Conyers. She was a point guard here in Tallahassee, Florida at Rickards HS.   Kezia went to Appalachian State  where she was  Southern Conference Freshman of the Year for 2002-03, the ASU Women’s Basketball MVP as a Junior and Senior. Conyers was also named All-Southern Conference her Senior year.  Kezia received her Master's degree in Recreation and Sport Sciences from Ohio University.  She also was an assistant basketball coach and Intramural Director at Converse College in Spartanburg, SC, 

This weeks MicknRick has a very very special guest. Florida A&M University’s 9th President, Dr. Fred Gainous.    Dr. Gainous now serves as the, executive director of the Brooksville Agricultural and Environmental Research Center. He has been an integral part of Duke Energy Florida building a solar farm in Brooksville, Florida.  Dr. Gainous is a FAMU alum who has early childhood memories of growing up on the tallest if 7 Hills.  Tune in to this light hearted educational interview with one of the FAMU Legends.  We have  our INSiiGHTS Basketball Preview and tonight we are featuring the boys basketball team from Godby High School. Coach Donte Gennie has two of his seniors with him whose personalities could not be more polar opposite.
